Today we are incredibly proud to announce that Drizzle Honey has become a Certified B Corporation. B Corps are a new type of company that use the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk.
Drizzle Honey was certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We’ve evaluated how our practices impact our employees, our community, the environment, and our customers.
Today, there are over 2,200 Certified B Corps around the globe, including Patagonia, Ben & Jerry's, tentree international and Bull Frog Power. Why did Drizzle become a Certified B Corp™?
Drizzle believes in comprehensive, verified sustainability which consider all aspects of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We also know that not all businesses claiming to be sustainable, actually are. As the founder of Drizzle, I have a background in Environmental Science and sustainable agriculture, so naturally built Drizzle on the principals of sustainability. Now we are a verified company in this growing movement and can better share our business practices with our customers. We are thrilled to continue bringing sustainable, innovative, and health-conscious honey products to the next generation of consumers as a Certified B Corporation®!
