Jampacked Superfood
Turmeric Gold Honey is part of our Superfood Honey Collection. Each product in the collection incorporates premium, health-conscious ingredients into our classic raw honey. Our Turmeric Gold Honey is packed with nutritious and distinctive ingredients that can completely transform an ordinary dish.
Organic Turmeric
Turmeric offers some pretty incredible benefits. It’s highly anti-inflammatory, is rich in antioxidants, aids in digestion, helps prevent liver disorders, and improves the body’s ability to digest fats. Packed with minerals including manganese, phosphorus and potassium, turmeric has both antimicrobial and medicinal purposes. It’s earthy, slightly bitter taste pairs perfectly with the sweetness in our honey.
Cardamom Oil
Cardamom has been used in cooking and in medicine for centuries. Like turmeric, cardamom is an incredible anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial ingredient. Cardamom has complex fruity and piney flavors. It plays well with turmeric and honey, and is included in many chai and golden milk recipes.
Rose Oil
Studies have shown rose oil can help reduce cortisol levels, and help to lower symptoms of anxiety. It is an antibacterial and antifungal ingredient and is used in many desserts. Rose has a floral, herbaceous and slightly sweet flavor.
Black Pepper Oil
Black pepper contains piperine, a natural substance that greatly aids in the absorption of the curcumin rich turmeric. Black pepper is also a common ingredient in chai, complementing the turmeric and cardamom flavors in the honey.
Repurposing Granola
Granola isn’t just for topping yogurt or smoothie bowls. You can add granola to any basic cookie recipe, use it as the topper of a fruit crisp, add it to a vegetable gratin, and even sprinkle it over a salad for great texture and added flavor. Or, you can always just eat it by the palmful for a fast and easy treat.
