Hello Drizzle Tribe! I’m so excited to be doing this guest post on the INCREDIBLE Cinnamon Spiced Raw Honey.

A little about me: my name is Jen Miller and I’m a Holistic Wellness Coach based in Calgary. I am certified in Holistic Nutrition (C.H.N.C), Reiki Level 1 & 2 and have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I specialize in stress and emotional wellbeing, as well as habit creation and integration.

I started my coaching business Glowing Minds Wellness out of a passion for helping others to design a lifestyle of wellness and was motivated by my personal experience with anxiety and stress. My program is built off of nutrition, lifestyle and mindset; three pillars of wellness that helps my clients and community align with their highest selves and live their happiest lives.

Raw honey has SO many incredible health benefits. One of my favourites is that it contains probiotics, which are basically the “good” type of bacteria. Probiotics promote a healthy gut microbiome, and are important not only to our digestive system health but also the health of our BRAIN! That’s right, I’m talking about the gut-brain connection here. The gut and brain are directly connected via the vagus nerve, which runs from our brain all the way to our large intestine. When our gut is healthy, it communicates through the vagus nerve with our brain and we can expect to have elevated brain health (think memory, mood and mental clarity!).
